Introduction :-
- Lakhsmir Bhandar Yojana is the flagship scheme of the Government of West Bengal for the household women.
- It started in the year 2021.
- The Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare will be responsible for the operation of this scheme.
- The main objective behind starting this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the household women to meet the daily needs expenses
- This will help the household women to bear the expenses incurred on daily needs.
- Under the Laxmir Bhandar Scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1,000/- will be given to eligible Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Women.
- Under the scheme financial assistance of Rs. 500/- will be given to women other than SC/ST Women.
- Only women of 25 to 60 years of age will be eligible in Laxmir Bhandar Scheme.
- Women receiving regular salary or pension will not be eligible under this scheme
- The only way to apply for the scheme is through Application Form.
Eligibility Criteria :-
- The woman should be a resident of West Bengal.
- Her age should be between 25 years to 60 years.
- She should not be a permanent or retired employee of the categories mentioned below :-
- Central Government.
- State Government.
- Statutory Body.
- Government Undertaking.
- Panchayats.
- Municipal Corporation.
- Municipalities.
- Local Body.
- Teaching or Non Teaching staff of Government aided Educational Institutions.
- She is not the recipient of regular salary or pension.
Documents Required :-
- Passport Size Photo.
- Copy of Swasthyasathi Card.
- Copy of Aadhar Card.
- Copy of Scheduled Caste/ Tribe Certificate.
- Copy of Bank Passbook (Sole A/c Holder)
- Filled in Aadhar Consent form
- Self Declaration Form.
Amount of Assistance :-
- The following financial assistance will be provided under Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme :-
- Rs. 1,000/- per month to Schedule Caste/ Tribe Women.
- Rs. 500/- per month to Women other than Schedule Caste/ Tribe.
How to Apply :-
- The only way to apply for Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme is through Application Form.
- Duare Sarkar Camp will be organized by the Government from time to time.
- Eligible applicants can collect the Application Form of Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme from these camps.
- After receiving the Application Form, personal details have to be filled in the Application Form.
- The camp members will assist the applicant in filling the Application Form of Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme.
- Copies of the following documents shall be attached with the Application Form :-
- Passport Size Photo.
- Swasthyasathi Card.
- Aadhar Card.
- Schedule Caste/ Tribe Certificate.
- Bank Passbook Copy.
- Self Declaration Form.
- The complete Application Form along with the documents attached will be submitted in the camp.
- After receiving the Application Form from the applicant, the Acknowledgment Receipt will be given by the camp.
- The information of the applicants will be uploaded by the Block Development Officer or Sub-Divisional Officer on the Lakshmir Bhandar Portal.
- After that the Application Form and Documents will be scrutinized thoroughly.
- The Applications found correct in the scrutiny will be forwarded for sanction to the District Magistrate.
- The information about the acceptance and rejection of the application will send to the mobile number of the applicant.
Features of the Scheme :-
- Swasthyasathi Card is mandatory to avail the benefit of West Bengal Lakshmir Bhadar Scheme.
- Applicant will be provisionally registered if she don't have a Swasthyasathi Card.
- The application forms of West Bengal Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme will be avaialble free of cost at Duare Sarkar Camps.
- Receipents of regular salary or pension are not eligible to avail the benefit of Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme.
- Penal action shall be taken against the applicant if the information or documents provided found to be false.
- Financial Assistance will be only transfer to the bank account of the eligible adult female member of the family.
- The Commissioner of Kolkata Municipal Corporation is the sactioning authority for the applicants residing under the limits of Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
- For the remaining area, District Magistrate will be the sanctioning authority.

Introduction :-
- West Bengal Pension Scheme was launched in 2010 by Government of West Bengal.
- The scheme was launched with the objective of providing social security to the disadvantaged section of the society.
- Under this scheme financial assistance will be provided to the following beneficiaries :-
- Old age - Rs.1000 per month.
- Widow - Rs. 1000 per month.
- Manabik - Rs. 1000 per month.
- Applicant must be a resident of West Bengal to avail the benefit of the scheme.
- Applicants having monthly income less than Rs.1000 are eligible under this scheme.
- Applicants can apply for this scheme by visiting their concerned District Social Welfare offices.
Eligibility :-
- Applicant must fall into the following category to avail the benefit of the scheme :-

How to Apply :-
- To apply for West Bengal Pension Scheme applicant need to visit the following offices :-
- Office of the Block Development Officer or the Executive Officer of the concerned Panchayat Samity in case of the applicant resides in the rural areas under the said Panchayat Samity.
- Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer in case of the applicant resides in Municipal / Notified areas outside the areas of Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
- Office of the Controller of Vagrancy, West Bengal situated at Purta Bhawan, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata in case of the applicant resides within the areas under Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
- Application form will be provided at the above mentioned offices at free of cost.
- Fill up the application form correctly and submit all the required documents.
- After submission of the form, details of the applicant will be verified.
- After successful verification, applicant can avail the benefit of the scheme.
Features :-
- To continue to avail the benefit of the West Bengal Pension Scheme, beneficiary must submit the following documents at pension receiving bank :-
- In case of death of beneficiary.
- In case of remarriage of widow.
